My journey to becoming a nurse practitioner began with a career in business, but I soon realized my true calling was in helping others heal. While spending time in Sofia, Bulgaria, I discovered a deep passion for mental health and felt called to make a career change. That experience became the foundation for my path into nursing and eventually psychiatric practice.
Over the past decade, my career has focused primarily on mental health and addiction treatment, with a special emphasis on supporting women through their recovery and healing journeys. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, recovery centers, and primary care, which has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges women face in navigating trauma, substance use, and mental health needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, reading, and relaxing outdoors. Most of all, I love spending time with my husband and our three children: Michael (7), Gabriella (6), and Clarabelle (1).
